SEMA is just around the corner and we are hearing manufacturers going all out with their builds. Well, SEMA has always been the place to showcase the most radical cars and mods. We have already featured what Hyundai is bringing to the show and now it’s Toyota’s turn. What they made is just an absolute beast.

Meet the 2000bhp, 220mph Toyota Land Cruiser. And no, we are not joking when we say it’s one of the fastest cars in the world.
They are calling it the Land Speed Cruiser
Toyota is bringing this one-off, heavily modified Land Cruiser to the SEMA show. At the heart of this beast beats a 5.7-liter twin turbocharged V8 that churns out a monstrous 2000bhp. The power is achieved by using two of the biggest Garrett turbochargers they could find to add to the engine. Each turbocharger is at least as big as a volleyball and they have two which is absolutely bonkers. The car can reach speeds in excess of 220 mph. All the power is channelled to the wheels using a six-speed ATI automatic gearbox.

The Land Speed Cruiser has some aerodynamic modifications to go along with such a beefy engine. There are air intake inlets which probably leads air to feed the monstrous turbochargers. They added a lip spoiler in the rear, rear diffusers and also a body kit. They also lowered the stance quite a bit and threw in a roll cage just to be safe. And in true SEMA fashion, the interior has also been modified.

The Land Speed Cruiser is not just for show. From its name, it will aim for a land speed record which is most likely for fastest SUV. Imagine this SUV chasing down Lamborghinis and McLarens.
The Toyota Land Speed Cruiser is just one of 30 Toyota cars on display at the SEMA Show.
Stay tuned for more news about the cars in the SEMA show.
