Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is not a mainstream name in the car world. But enthusiasts know the name James Glickenhaus as the owner of one-off Ferraris like the P4/5 by Pininfarina and P4/5 Competizione. This is another one-off build and it claims to be the fastest cornering car on sale.

The SCG 003CS is a one-off based on an earlier model the SCG 003. The SCG 003CS has the DNA of a race car and its roots can be traced back to the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race which the team has won best in class. Underneath the bonnet is a 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing something north of 750bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from zero to 62mph in under 3 seconds and has a top speed of 217mph. The engine is paired with a 7-speed paddle shift gearbox which is also being used by Koenigsegg.
The SCG 003CS has all the racing tech inside. The aerodynamic package is similar to the racing version down to the massive rear wing. What’s neat about the SCG 003CS is that it is street legal but can be converted to race spec in just a short time. Well, it is basically a race car with proper lights and plate number attachments.
The SCG 003CS will be sold as a kit car which means it can be legally registered in the United States. Being a kit car exempts it from having airbags and crash testing. SCG can also send mechanics to your garage to help you build the car in just three days. As exciting as this news is, the only downer is that the car will set you back around $1.3 million USD. James Glickenhaus says that even at that price SCG will not be turning a profit. For that price, you can own a Ferrari LaFerrari if you can find one for sale.
