There is an interesting trend going on in the automotive world. Manufacturers are taking already cool cars and making them more awesome. The original Pagani Huayra is a seriously powerful hypercar and is very rare. All 100 examples have been sold out which is probably why they are building a new car.
All about the Pagani Huayra BC
The Pagani Huayra BC is a Huayra that participated in the biggest loser automotive edition. The BC stands for Benny Caiola, who was the first person to own a Pagani hypercar.

The Huayra BC still uses the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 made by Mercedes-AMG. The output is up with the engine now producing 789bhp and 811 lb-ft of torque which is 60bhp better than the original hypercar. The power is transferred to the wheels by a new seven-speed semi-automatic transmission which weighs forty percent less than the original dual-clutch transmissions.
The Huayra BC was put on a very strict diet and shed some 291lbs. This brings the weight down to 2,685lbs from 2,976lbs. The biggest chunk of the weight lost is from the aforementioned transmission and the electronic differential. Suspension components have also shed some weight with the use of HiForg aluminum alloy. Even the new Pirelli tires shaved three percent of its original weight while increasing grip.
Pagani Huayra BC: Lighter and Better
Most of the body have been redone in the Huayra BC with new front splitters, a bigger rear wing, and massive diffusers. The only part retained from the Huayra is the roof. There are other improvements to the Huayra BC including the redesigned suspension and drive shaft. The new hypercar also gets a new aerodynamic package that increases the airflow within the vehicle and includes active aerodynamics.
Pagani is yet to reveal how much the Huayra BC will cost and how many units they plan to make. With all units of the original Huayra sold out, there should be no shortage of new clients lining up for the Huayra BC. This was exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show.
