We here at Fitmycar love the McLaren 570S and all its models. We especially like the track ready 570S GT4. Well, McLaren has a new update to the 570S that is a middle ground from the standard 570S and the GT4 racer.
The McLaren 570S will get the new Track Pack upgrade package for existing and new cars.

The 570S will still be powered by the same mid-mounted 3.8 litre twin-turbo V8 capable of producing 562bhp and 443 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed paddle shift gearbox. The performance figures of 3.1 seconds to 62mph from a stop and 204mph should speak for itself. You don’t really need any more power out of this supercar.
The Track Pack upgrade focuses on weight savings and additional downforce. The tech guys at McLaren found a way to slim down the 570S by 25kgs. They took out all the leather and replaced it with lightweight Alcantara. They also took out the seats and replaced them with carbon fibre ones. You’d also get a new set of lightweight forged alloy wheels.

The aerodynamic change is more subtle. The profile of the rear wing has been tweaked and is set 12mm higher. This small change brings 29kgs of additional downforce to go with the weight savings. You will also get a new “stealth finish” sports exhaust system. The roof will have a “dark palladium” contrast. And you get the telemetry system found in the McLaren P1 and 675LT.
The Track Pack is meant for the owner who likes to occasionally take the supercar to track day rather than the privateer racing team of the 570S GT4. The upgrade pack will cost an additional £16,500 on top of the £143,250 base price. It is still a bargain considering the stuff that you get. Best part is that you will still get the creature comforts such as airconditioning, a stereo and carpets!
